Hi Tiger Sharks!

Please remember to declare your swimmers for our swim meet Tuesday! We will be swimming away at WoodCreek (5200 Lockley Road in Apex). The deadline to declare is tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:30pm; if you have not declared your swimmer(s) by then, they will not be able to swim in the meet. Even if you are not able to attend the meet, please declare your swimmers as not attending so we know you are not attending and have not simply forgotten to respond.

As a reminder, swimmers must be able to complete their races unassisted in order to swim in the meet. If your child is not yet ready to swim unassisted, please do not sign them up to participate in the meet.

TEAM BUILDING

For team building this Tuesday, everyone is invited to join us to play kickball at the Circle on the Green from 9:30-10:15am!

FOOD

WoodCreek will have the NC Burger food truck and Kona Ice, as well as a cash-only concessions stand with snacks, candy, and water. You can also preorder Manhattan Pizza with this link by Saturday at 5:00pm: https://forms.gle/X67NNsXaVkjBijWn9

ARRIVAL

Please arrive by 5:00pm to check in. Our team will be set to the left side of the pool deck when you walk in. There are a few tables and chairs already there, but WoodCreek encourages visitors to bring a folding chair. Warm ups will start at 5:30; and the meet will begin at 6:00. Please make sure to arrive on time! If for any reason you will be late, please let me know if you have not done so already.

PARKING

Use the parking lot on the right after the clubhouse. If that is full, you can park on the right side of Lockley Road.

THEME

Our theme for this meet is neon!

WHAT TO BRING

Please make sure to wear your Tiger Sharks bathing suit and bring goggles and a swim cap. Don’t forget to bring a towel and money for concessions!

Also, WoodCreek uses a different timing system for meets, so we will be writing numbers on swimmers for this meet. I will send out the list of numbers once I get them from WoodCreek, if your swimmers could come with their numbers already written on each shoulder, that will help make our check in process smoother on Tuesday!

VOLUNTEERS

If you have not yet signed up to serve as a volunteer, please do so - we need everyone’s help to run this meet!

PARENT/COACHES RELAY

WoodCreek will be putting together a parent relay and a coaches relay for the meet! If there are any parents that would like to form a relay, please email me.
