Hi Tiger Sharks families!

We are so excited to see everyone at Time Trials tomorrow! Here is some important information:

RACES

Everyone will be entered into all races for their age group.

Normally, we won’t put swimmers in events they are not able to swim, but we may tomorrow to get a better idea of swimmers’ abilities in the different strokes.

We will have Junior Coaches in the water for all 6 and under races. If there are any 7/8s who do not feel ready to swim by themselves, please talk to a Coach before the meet starts, and we will make sure there is someone in the water with them for their races.

However, going forward, for our real dual meets starting next Tuesday, we will not have coaches in the water for the 7/8 races.

FOOD

Our cash only concessions stand will have pizza and hotdogs as well as other snacks and beverages available for purchase during the evening.

ARRIVAL

Please arrive by 5:00pm to check in. Team photo will be taken at 5:25 - make sure to wear your new Tiger Sharks t-shirt! (for the few who may not have a t-shirt yet, please wear an old Tiger Sharks t-shirt or another red one) Warm ups will start promptly at 5:30; and the meet will begin at 6:00. Please make sure to arrive on time! If for any reason you will be late, please let me or the Swim Team Board know if you have not done so already!

WHAT TO BRING

Please make sure to wear your Tiger Sharks bathing suit and t-shirt. In addition, please bring goggles and a swim cap - we highly recommend these for everyone! Even if you don’t like how they feel, they help you swim so much faster! Also, make sure to bring plenty of water, and I suggest bringing 2 towels, one to sit on and one to wear. Finally, make sure to bring snacks or money to purchase concessions.

VOLUNTEERS

If you have not yet signed up to serve as a volunteer, please do so - we need everyone’s help to run this meet! Please don’t be intimidated by the volunteer positions. Feel free to sign up for something you don’t know how to do; we’ll be happy to teach you! In particular, we really need an announcer, starter, and a clerk of course.

AFTER THE MEET

After the meet ends tomorrow night, any interested families are invited to join us at Goodberry’s off Davis Drive for some ice cream to celebrate the completion of our first meet
